Players such as Chris Gayle, MS Dhoni, Andre Russell, and AB de Villers are well known for their heroics in the past IPL seasons. Sanju Smason
The wicket-keeper batsman for Kerala has been appointed as the captain of Rajasthan Royal for the upcoming IPL season. He was second on the list of players with most sixes in the last IPL season with 26 sixes.
Ishan Kishan
The wicket-keeper batsman for Mumbai Indians, Ishan Kishan scored a half-century on his T20I debut against England. His confidence seems to have only gone up following a great season last year where the southpaw batsman hit a total of 30 sixes, the highest in IPL 2020.
MS Dhoni
Dhoni had a rather disappointing IPL season in 2020 where the world-cup winning former India captain failed to score a single fifty. Fans can expect a Dhoni special this year with the possibility of IPL 2021 being the last time Dhoni dons the CSK jersey. Looking at his preparations, MS Dhoni is likely to add many more sixes to his tally of 216 in his IPL career.
Chris Gayle
Age doesn’t seem to be a barrier for the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle. He holds the record for most number of sixes in IPL at 349 with no other player even remotely close to this number. He made a huge impact at number 3 for Punjab Kings in the second half of the last season. There is still a lot of cricket left in Gayle and he is a strong contender in the race to most sixes in IPL 2021.
David Warner The Australian opening batsman will be reaching a big milestone of 200 IPL sixes this year. With 195 sixes in 142 IPL matches, David Warner is among the top 10 players to hit most sixes in IPL.
