CS:GO Scouting Project Launched By Betway and MIBR

The world of esports is ever-growing as we get to see new teams come to the surface every year. Different organizations in the world launch different projects from time to time through which they search for suitable players for their teams. And just recently, the popular bookmaker Betway and Immortals Gaming Club’s esports team MIBR launched a new project through which they are searching for players that can represent their CS:GO team.

Betway was founded in 2006 and it is considered one of the largest online gambling companies in the world. They sponsor some of the biggest esports tournaments in the world and are always creating new opportunities for esports players. As for MIBR, it was founded in 2003 by was later shut down in 2012. However, in June 2018, it returned to the surface with Immortals Gaming Club serving as its parent company and Betway serving as one of its official partners.

CS:GO Scouting Project

The newly launched project is called Feitos no Brasil and it has only one purpose; that is to find suitable players for the CS:GO team of MIBR. The project officially started on July 17th and will conclude on August 8th. The project is targeting players that are of the age of 13 or above and at the end of it, only one player will secure a place in the CS:GO team of MIBR. The company claimed that they will be utilizing Immortal Gaming Club’s main platform, Gamers Club to find new academy players.

The Two Stages

Renato ‘Nak’ Nakano, who is the strategic coach of MIBR, is going to monitor the Gamers Club leagues throughout the first three weeks. He will be responsible for closely analyzing each match to discover promising players for the final selection. At the end of the third week, Nakano will give a Gamers Club badge to 20 players he finds are suitable for the team.

After the three weeks are over, the selected 20 players will be further divided into four teams. These players will compete in the Feitos no Brasil tournament that will be hosted by Betway. The tournament will last for around two weeks and both Nakano and Henrique ‘Rikz” Waku will analyze them. At the end of it, they will select one player who will join the organizations’ official CS:GO team.

Both the selection stage and tournament stage will be live-streamed on the official Twitch channel of Nakano. Those who will be watching from Brazil will have the luxury to win different rewards during the stream, such as Gamers Club Pls subscriptions and much more. One of the representatives of Betway also claimed that they are really “proud to support the search for the next big star with Feitos no Brasil” as the country “has such an incredible pool of CS:GO talent.”

In any case, it’s great to see that organizations are partnering up with each other to find the hidden talent in the world of esports. It will be exciting to see which player will manage to top the list and make his way to the MIBR CS:GO team.
